Uninitialized Constant Spoon::FFI

I am trying to run the dev version following a git clone of the master branch. On both my OS X and ubuntu machines, when I launch redcar (by going to the bin folder and typing ./redcar) I get the following error:

Can't replicate on my Ubuntu 12.10 machine. Are you still experiencing this issue?
