redcar clears the clipboard on exit [?]
Reported by Roger | February 5th, 2010 @ 10:57 PM
How to reproduce:
start redcar
copy "aa" into the clipboard
paste it within redcar
close redcar
try to paste in some other app
Can't paste. Seems reproducible in linux and doze. I think it's unexpected.

There is a similar linux bug that seems to have been around since 2004. Hilarious:

Closing this bug, since it's old and because this behaviour can be reproduced across a variety of GTK Linux applications, even the "Take Screenshot" app has this bug. It is not expected, but it's also not Redcar's fault and there's isn't much we can do about it. Some DMs (KDE3, for one) have a dedicated clipboard daemon running in the background for exactly this problem, but short of implementing support for all possible systems different DMs use for this, we can do nothing about this.
