Windows 3.5 bug

Linux line endings wreck havoc on windows machines when deleting lines.

This doesn't seem to be a problem anymore, and this can be closed. I'm going to start using Redcar on my windows environment at work for non .Net development and should be able to identify some more windows bugs as well.
