repeating last search when at bottom of document fail

See title. It "does nothing" for whatever reason, when you hit F3 and are at the very bottommost of a document.

For me it's shift+cmd+f, and it seems to work. Repeat last search seems to work for me from any point in the document. However if there's nothing after the position of my caret, it won't cycle through and find the instances earlier in the document.
