Menu ordering is erratic

I noticed that the "Edit" menu in the current head (66a8664e43c9269d) is next to Help despite it's priority in plugins/redcar/redcar.rb
It looks like this is happening because the document_search plugin appends to edit without specifying a priority.
I have an initial patch pushed to http://github.com/matschaffer/redcar/tree/menu_priority that does this (http://github.com/matschaffer/redcar/commit/703ff00cd7b00226642780b...) by allowing nil priorities then taking whatever priority isn't nil when merging menu items.
Seems to work, but isn't spec'd yet.
