Auto Complete doesn't fire when speed bar is open
Reported by Mat Schaffer | September 11th, 2010 @ 08:38 PM
If I use "find" or some other speed bar command, then refocus the editor without closing the speedbar, I can't use Auto Complete anymore. I have to first close the speed bar.
If the esc mapping is a problem, maybe we could consider another keybinding? Or maybe the speedbar should auto hide once you start typing in the editor window?

Same problem as me,
Some time we are set Ctrl+Space keybinding with change IME between in Chinese and English.
So, I suggest change the Auto Complete key binding to ESC, like Textmate or E-Texteditor. -

I don't think the keybinding is really a related issue. Ultimately key-binding will involve some personal preference (I'm sometimes tempted to map it to ctrl+n like vim).
Of course per-user custom keybindings should probably be a more straightforward process, but I think it's outside the scope of this bug.
