Brilliance themes display symbols wrong

I just wanted to note that, in both themes, symbols don't

correctly because the : in front of symbol name gets rendered as
black
on a black bacground, making symbols appear as " symbol" instead
of
":symbol".. Thought this is an easy thing to either fix in the
theme, or change default themes?
