Secondary windows don't have application menu

To reproduce:

  • Start redcar
  • Open directory, let project load up
  • Open directory again to launch another window

The second window doesn't have an application menu.

System: Ubuntu 10.10 Netbook Edition, ruby 1.8.7-299

    I confirm this bug on Ubuntu 10.10.

    If you use a menu shortcut (for instance, ALT+F), the menu shows up.

    Finally confirmed this. It happens for me on Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit, but not 32-bit.

    Got some stuff in the console, but so far it doesn't seem to mean much:

    (Redcar:4452): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid uninstantiatable type `(null)' in cast to `GObject'
    
    (Redcar:4452): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_get_data: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
