Save As doesn't change the title on the tab

- Milestone changed from “0.1” to “0.2”

save-as also does not alter the type of file eg: save as foo.c does not switch the editor into 'c' mode.

Thanks for reporting this. It should be fixed in the current HEAD. (You will need to update both GtkMateView and Redcar.)
