Option to list ignored paths
Reported by y_feldblum (at yahoo) | December 4th, 2010 @ 05:28 PM
Feature Request.
Some dot-files and dot-dirs may be part of a project. Or, the particular dot-files and dot-dirs to hide may be a personal preference.
For example, I may want .gitignore
not to be
hidden, but I may want .gitkeep
and
**/.gitkeep
to remain hidden, in the normal view (when
show-hidden-files remains unselected). In this case, my preference
for this project is that .gitignore
be treated as an
important project file that is displayed in the normal view, even
though it's a dot-file.
There should be a way to configure the Redcar project, somewhere
in the .redcar/
directory, to indicate which path
patterns should be hidden in the normal view, similar to Git's
mechanism for indicating which path patterns should be ignored.
Cheers!
