Cursor placement issues when multiple windows are open

When I have more than one window open in Redcar on Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat, I experience issues where the cursor will not display correctly on the active window, even when selected, and often the cursor will remain focused on a hidden Redcar window. This means that if keyboard input occurs, the output goes to a hidden window and not the window in focus. This happens relatively consistently and can be resolved by closing all but one window in Redcar.
I can video the issue if needed.
