Syntax checking not working under Ubuntu x86_64
Reported by Maurits Lamers | June 28th, 2012 @ 08:02 AM
When running Redcar under Ubuntu 64 bit, syntax checking seems
to be disabled.
The Syntax Checking menu option doesn't have sub-options.
I tried installing the Javascript language plugin under ~/.redcar/plugins (I was a bit surprised it wasn't included in the gem install) but that didn't seem to make any kind of difference. I also installed the redcar-javascript gem, but that didn't work either.
I also cannot seem to find what the current language setting is for a specific file, but resetting the language association for a file doesn't bring up the syntax checking menu item either, nor does it run any kind of syntax check.
I have tried both redcar-0.13 and 0.13.5-dev from the ruby gem, but they both didn't check syntax.
