Redcar lets you close a modified file without saving
Reported by marzapower | April 20th, 2009 @ 08:02 AM | in 0.3
I got this bug using redcar on Jaunty, updated to the latest release.
Steps to reproduce the bug: 1. Open a file 2. Modify the file without saving 3. Close the tab related to the file
Now the redcar editor closes the file without asking you to save it or not.

I've been going around calling people who complain about this 'newbs' but that joke is only so funny.... :)
I'll make sure it's in 0.2.

This little bug is "dangerous" when one is working on a project, modifying multiple files, leaving only one not saved.
Then, when closing the editor those unsaved changes risk to be lost.
I too call those people 'newbs', but the last time I had that problem I did not know how to call myself. :)

I'm just kidding. I know it's a serious omission, it's just about getting around to it...

This bug SHOULD be reopened.
Even if redcar asks you if you want to save or not a file when closing a TAB, it will not do the same when closing the APPLICATION.
So, if you open a new project, open two or more files, modify one or more of them, and then close redcar, you will not have the changes saved.
