Dragging a code block can "kill" a tab

I tried to select and drag a block of code somewhere. It didn't do it correctly (not even close actually) - there was code all over the show. Pressing undo then REALLY messed everything up, and rendered the tab unusable. The tab seems to get into an infinite loop. This behavior is reproducible every time.
