Autocomplete plugin bug

The auto-complete plugin somtimes outputs the wrong characters in the word.
Steps to reproduce:
open the README.md
go to the last (empty) line
type c and hit ctrl space
result: cntributors
anything over co will have ntributors tacked to the end of the word
resulting in bad auto-completion
I.E. contr + ctrl + space = contrntributors
or contri + ctrl + space = contrintributors

I tried the same thing again after restarting redcar, and it is working fine so IDK
