[SOLVED] error in sync exec - undefined method `controller' for nil:NilClass

When I try to run redcar, I get this in the terminal:
$ sudo gem install redcar $ sudo redcar install $ redcar error in sync exec undefined methodcontroller for nil:NilClass /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/redcar-0.7/plugins/project/lib/project/drb_service.rb:55:inopen_item_drb/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/redcar-0.7/plugins/swt/lib/swt.rb:105:incall/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/redcar-0.7/plugins/swt/lib/swt.rb:105:insync_exec/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/redcar-0.7/plugins/swt/lib/swt/full_swt.rb:95:incall/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/redcar-0.7/plugins/swt/lib/swt/full_swt.rb:95:inrun/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/redcar-0.7/plugins/swt/lib/swt/event_loop.rb:13:instart/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/redcar-0.7/plugins/core/lib/core/gui.rb:39:instart/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/redcar-0.7/lib/redcar.rb:180:inpump/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/redcar-0.7/bin/redcar:30

Try to reinstall redcar. Remove your ~/.redcar directory and run "redcar install" without (!) the sudo. Also, make sure no other instances of Redcar are running at this point.
