Regaining focus bogus on OSX

I have a global keyboard short cut for showing/hiding my terminal (Visor, like Yakuake on Linux). All applications I use (Firefox, TextMate, Mail, Echofon, ...) regain focus after hiding the terminal again. Redcar does not, so I have to touch my mouse in-between typing, which interrupts my workflow (switching to Terminal an back is like the action I do most).
