installed files are world writable

Reported by Vincent Batts | September 7th, 2011 @ 01:40 PM

installing the redcar (version 0.11) gem, as root, leaves some plugins with insecure permissions.
The following files are world writable:
/usr/lib64/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/redcar-0.11/plugins/core/lib/core/has_spi.rb /usr/lib64/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/redcar-0.11/plugins/runnables/features/fixtures/params_app.rb /usr/lib64/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/redcar-0.11/plugins/runnables/features/fixtures/runnable_app.rb /usr/lib64/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/redcar-0.11/plugins/runnables/features/fixtures/alternate.ruby /usr/lib64/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/redcar-0.11/plugins/runnables/features/fixtures/line_app.rb /usr/lib64/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/redcar-0.11/plugins/runnables/features/fixtures/name_app.rb /usr/lib64/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/redcar-0.11/plugins/textmate/vendor/redcar-bundles/Bundles/RedcarRepl.tmbundle/Syntaxes/ClojureRepl.plist
