Keyboard Shortcuts Inconsistent with Gnome

Discussed a bit on the mailing list but I think this should be one of the things finalized in the next milestone.
Atm, Redcar is using Apple keyboard shortcuts so Super+S is used to save instead of Ctrl+S. Since Redcar is an editor for the Gnome environment the shortcuts should follow Gnome standards. There is also a mismatch currently since Super is used for Save, but Ctrl is used for Copy/Paste (I don't own a Mac but I believe Command is used for Copy/Paste) which makes things more confusing.
If making the editor follow Gnome standards interferes with Textmate Bundle shortcuts then I think the bundle shortcuts should be made to use the Super key instead of Ctrl in Redcar. This won't affect the Gnome users who are searching for a Textmate like editor since they won't be accustomed to the existing Textmate commands :)

I have swapped Ctrl+Super for most commands. There are some holdouts, like Super+N is still new tab, because Ctrl+N and Ctrl+P are previous line and next line as in Emacs. But you should find this better.

If Ctrl+T is not available make it the default for New Tab instead of Ctrl+N since this is the shortcut in Firefox, Gnome-Terminal, Nautilus to name a few. :) Ctrl+N is more often used for new file or new window

Ignore my previous comment. I think I misunderstood what you meant by "new tab". It's just a new file so Ctrl+N would have been correct. Not much point adding a new Tab in an editor with no content. ;)

Actually, I like this. I want to have Ctrl+Shift+T to undo close tab as well so this would fit nicely (I find myself wanting undo tab close all the time).
So I might do it after all.
