Cannot change language for syntax highlighting

Reported by marzapower | April 23rd, 2009 @ 09:09 AM | in 0.3

I got this error creating a new file and trying to set it to use Ruby code highlighting:

  1. Open redcar
  2. File -> New
  3. Type some ruby code (optional)
  4. Click on the bottom right combo box

The editor doesn't let you chose a language for the current document and sets a default "Plain Text" format.

Saving the file as "test.rb" sets the editor to the Ruby code syntax highlighting, but even in this case it is not possible to change language.

I'm a fool and I want to code Python applications saving source code in ".rb" format. How can I do this? :D
