Copy from other program

I've have not been able to reproduce the error, but I copied
text, switched over to redcar and it crashed.

How to reproduce:
clear the clipboard
start redcar
go to some other window
"copy something" go back to redcar window -

appears my patch was a bit short sighted, and broke the clipboard for the normal case (pesky unit tests).
