installed files are world writable

installing the redcar (version 0.11) gem, as root, leaves some
plugins with insecure permissions.
The following files are world writable:
/usr/lib64/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/redcar-0.11/plugins/core/lib/core/has_spi.rb
/usr/lib64/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/redcar-0.11/plugins/runnables/features/fixtures/params_app.rb

/usr/lib64/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/redcar-0.11/plugins/runnables/features/fixtures/alternate.ruby
/usr/lib64/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/redcar-0.11/plugins/runnables/features/fixtures/line_app.rb
