Search & replace should be one step in undo history

Reported by Michal Hantl | October 26th, 2010 @ 08:58 AM

I've just performed S&R that replaced 51 times.

Then I hit save, but now I see that

  1. my replacement was regexp (even though I used plain last time I think) and
  2. it replaced stuff I didn't want to

No I say to myself "no problem", hit ctrl+Z and saw only one replacement go back.

I should be able to restore the previous state with just one ctrl+Z!

Due to shallow undo history, I need to fix all the other places by hand.
