Launching against a non-existent file should create a new buffer with that filename
Reported by Charles Oliver Nutter | July 10th, 2011 @ 09:55 AM
Right now, if you run "redcar file-that-does-not-exist.txt", Redcar will do nothing at all. I assume it's doing an existence check on the file in question before attempting to open it.
TextMate, in this situation, creates a new empty buffer associated with the file-that-does-not-exist.txt so you can start editing it and eventually save it.
It is rather annoying in Redcar that I have to touch any new file I want to start editing, and it frequently forces me back into using vi.
Fix: make the "redcar" command launch a new empty buffer when given a non-existent filename.
